How can we decrease Blue Light risks in our workplace?

People who spend almost half of their day at their workplace? What are the negative results? How often do you lack sleep? Let’s find out!

 

         You may not notice it now, but the blue lights that are being emitted by your phones and laptops at work may be the culprit of your lack of sleep. And as a result, you may experience energy loss, thus poor work performance. The unnoticed blue lights that are slowly destroying your sleep may lead to something serious, like, insomnia and weight loss.

 

         How can we reduce or avoid the harmful effects of said blue lights?

 

  1. Practice the most popular rule against blue lights, the 20-20-20 rule. Look at something 20 ft. away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes and try encouraging your workmates for a healthier working environment, too.
  2. Try shifting with your workmates when you feel your eyes getting tired, it may be one of the symptoms of digital eye strain which is inevitable especially on people who face computer screens most of the time.
  3. Install anti-blue light screen protectors on your digital devices. This is still the best way up to today.
